I have always had a hard time eating out at restaurants. This is because I have trouble trusting that there is no gluten in my food. It has gotten way easier over the years. Here are 5 things I recommend when going to eat out with Celiac Disease:

  1. Research Restaurants before that can accommodate your allergy and take a peak at the menu.

  2. Choose a food thats more on the safer side if you get nervous like me; This could be a protein and vegetables or a salad.

  3. Make sure to remind the waiter about your allergy and they know to tell the chef.

  4. Don't be afraid to ask questions or speak up if your food isn't right. Enjoy the food obviously!!!
